Stub is made by one person. This page says exactly what the website collects today, in plain words. It will change when the app ships, and the date above will change with it.
What this website collects
Your email address, if you give it to us. That is the only thing. It goes to Resend, who hold the waitlist on our behalf, and it is used for one purpose: to tell you when Stub is on the App Store. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you from the list.
Nothing else. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no third-party tracker of any kind on this site. We do not know who you are, where you came from, or what you did here.
The calculators
Everything you type into the bill, rent and settle-up calculators stays in your browser. It is not sent to us, not stored, and not logged. Close the tab and it is gone. You can confirm this by opening your browser's network panel: those pages make no requests while you use them.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, who keep standard server logs including IP addresses for a short period, as any web host does. Those logs are for keeping the site running and defending it from abuse. We do not read them to learn about you and we do not combine them with anything else.
Where your data sits
Resend and Vercel are United States companies and process data there. If you are in the UK or the EU, your email address therefore leaves your country when you join the waitlist. Both providers operate under the standard contractual clauses that permit this.
How long we keep it
Your address stays on the waitlist until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, or until Stub launches and the list has done its job. We are not building a mailing list to sell you things later.
What you can ask for
Whatever your local law says you are entitled to — in the UK and EU that is a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or a complaint to your data protection authority. In practice, for a waitlist, this is one address in one list, and we will delete it the same day you ask.
Write to hello@craskey.com and say what you want. No form, no account, no proving who you are beyond writing from the address in question.
When the app ships
The app will handle more than an email address, and this page will be rewritten before it does. The commitments already made publicly — receipts read on your own phone on the free plan, your whole history exportable, nothing locked when a subscription lapses — will hold.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, anyone on the waitlist is told by email before it takes effect.
Who to contact
hello@craskey.com. A person reads it.
